Made by us, not bought in. Most machine-made rugs are bought finished from a mill. We make ours. The wool is ours, dyed in our own facility, woven on our own power looms in Pakistan by our own team. Then we do the part almost nobody in this category does: we put it through the same washing and finishing our hand-knotted rugs get — the drum, the wash, the brushing, the sun. That is why these do not feel like machine-made rugs usually feel. They are power-loomed, and we will always tell you so — but they are finished by the same hands, in the same plant, as the rugs we knot by hand. Cotton foundation, wool pile, made start to finish in our own plant.
