Refund & Return Policy
We want you to live with your rug and love it. Because most Arteverk pieces are one-of-a-kind, here is exactly how returns work.
Return window
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return. Once your return is approved, you have up to 30 days from delivery to ship the rug back to us. To be eligible, the rug must be returned in the same condition you received it — unused, undamaged, free of odors or stains, and with any original tags and packaging. Please include your order number or proof of purchase.
How to start a return
Email hello@arteverk.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for return. We'll approve the return and send instructions, a prepaid return shipping label, and the return address. Please don't ship anything back before you've contacted us, items sent without an approved return can't be accepted.
Return shipping — on us
We cover return shipping. When we approve your return, we'll provide a prepaid return label so you can send the rug back at no cost to you. (For oversize/freight pieces we'll arrange the return carrier directly.) We just ask that you re-pack the rug carefully in its original packaging so it arrives back in resalable condition.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll email you the result. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10-15 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it. If 15 business days pass after approval and you haven't seen your refund, email hello@arteverk.com.
The nature of hand-knotted rugs
Hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs carry small, natural variations — slight irregularities in pile, knotting, color, and dimensions — that are part of the character of a handmade piece and are not defects. Photographs are as accurate as we can make them, but natural fibers and screen settings mean colors can vary slightly from what you see online.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange is to return the original piece and place a new order once the return is approved — especially with one-of-a-kind rugs, where the next piece may sell at any time.
Non-returnable items
• Gift cards.
• Custom, special-order, or made-to-order pieces — these are made for you and are final sale.
• Items showing use, wear, stains, or odor beyond normal inspection.
We no longer run final-sale clearance, so standard returns apply to in-stock pieces unless a specific item is clearly marked otherwise at the time of purchase.
Damaged or wrong items
Inspect your order on arrival. If a piece is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can evaluate and make it right — repair, replacement where possible, or a full refund.
