This collection is specificlly inspired by a kind of Persian rug known as a "Bakshaish rug" is created in the Azerbaijanian village of the same name. Their elaborate geometric patterns, which frequently take their cue from tribal rugs, are well known. Typically hand-knotted and composed of fine wool, bakshaish rugs are manufactured with intricated attention to details. They can be used in formal or informal situations and are frequently extremely large. Both collectors and interior designers like to use Bakshaish rugs.
