Persian rugs known as Mir Saraband are produced in Azerbaijan's Mir Saraband region. They are renowned for their strength, soft pile, and magnificent patterns. The history of producing Mir Saraband rugs dates back many centuries. They are usually knotted by hand and made of wool. The dense weave of the knots makes Mir Saraband carpets particularly robust. Red, green, and blue are just a few of the vivid and bright hues that are frequently utilized. Usually floral or geometric, the motifs are frequently symmetrical. Rugs from Mir Saraband are frequently huge in size. Their unusual "boteh" design, which resembles a stylized leaf or pear shape, is what makes them famous. The origins of Mir Saraband rugs can be traced back to the sixteenth century. The nomadic tribes of the Mir Saraband region produced them at first, and they were utilized as floor coverings. The Safavid and Qajar rug weaving styles, which were prevalent at the time, had an influence on the carpets. The majority of Mir Saraband rugs are made of wool, and they are frequently knotted with a lot of knots. This gives the rugs a plush, sumptuous feel, and it also makes them quite strong. Although Mir Saraband rugs come in a range of shapes and sizes, the colors red, blue, and beige are the most typical ones to see. The shrub pattern, the Shah Abbas medallion, the Chahar Bagh (a bird's-eye view of a four-part garden), and the Herati (fish) are some of the common classic Persian motifs seen in the carpets.
