Rugs from Mir Saraband are frequently huge in size. Their unusual "boteh" design, which resembles a stylized leaf or pear shape, is what makes them famous. The origins of Mir Saraband rugs can be traced back to the sixteenth century. The nomadic tribes of the Mir Saraband region produced them at first, and they were utilized as floor coverings. The Safavid and Qajar rug weaving styles, which were prevalent at the time, had an influence on the carpets.
