A higher knot count and finer materials — handspun, luminous wool, and the finest in wool and silk, all colored with vegetable dyes — let the weaver render the design with exceptional crispness and a gentle sheen. They come in a range of colorways, from the classic warm Chobi palette to soft, Serenity-style washed neutrals. Many are large statement and gallery pieces, often drawn in the refined Haji Jalili master pattern. Caring for an Ariana rug
A finely hand-knotted Ariana — especially a wool-and-silk piece — deserves gentle care: vacuum softly with the pile (no beater bar), rotate twice a year, use a rug pad, and blot spills immediately rather than rubbing.
