Tabriz rugs are woven with great care and attention to detail by master weavers using high-quality wool, silk in a variety of dyes. They have tight densely knotted structures and elaborate floral or geometric designs, often featuring a central medallion surrounded by motifs. They have stunning color palettes that range from soft pastels to vibrant jewel tones. They vary in size, shape, and quality, depending on the workshop or individual weaving workshops.

A note on character

Faint creases from transit are normal and relax within a few days of lying flat. Slight irregularities in line and color are the signature of a hand-knotted piece — not flaws, but the fingerprints of the person who made it.
